Note: this was written in August 2024 to recreate a post which was lost. All of my old computers, Google Drive, Facebook, etc. were all searched for context, but only what was shown below was able to be recovered. I will try to add some details, but as my memories have faded, this may well be all that I have left of that moment in time.

The Suffield Academy Tigers defeated the Alumni Team, 3-1.

It’s always great to see the current varsity team and try to get them ready for some real competition when the season starts.
“I made it back for the alumni game. Now I need to rest up another four years before I can give it a go again.”
I am grateful that Nicole took some pictures of me while I was on the field. I don’t run that often anymore, it’s nice to have proof I was capable of it!
And that is all until next year. I was done.
