Conn Aid Genealogy, L.L.C.

Conn Aid Genealogy was established in the summer of 2017 by the company’s managing member, Joseph Fleming. The business model was simple: form a team of professionals who would provide services to those seeking help with their family history research. The business filed as a Limited Liability Company soon after and it’s presence was growing nicely until the covid-pandemic. The mandated social distancing and inability to access record repositories did not help in any regard. Operations were put on hold, but there is a plan in the works to run a scaled down solo endeavor which will commence after the summer of 2024 and include some products and special non-research services.

Professional Genealogical accreditations expire. Every five years the Board for the Certification of Genealogists (BCG) and the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen) require work to be submitted in order for reevaluation of one’s right to use their respective CG and AG post-nominal titles.
