Brewery Legitimus, IV

Note: this post was written on 21 July 2024 to reference the other times we were at Legitimus. Only a few pictures were able to be recovered from old computers, Google Drive, Facebook, etc. and most won’t have the details from the day. We will try to add some context, but as our memories have faded, the picture may be all we have left of that moment.

The bar was attracting a nice size crowd, but seeing the picture now, it seems like the ratio of women to men was unusually high. [The space on the far right was cordoned off in later years to allow for easy to-go service, a wise decision.]

This time there was a food truck, even though I don’t believe we ordered anything from it.

And, instead of a crowler, I took home two full sized growlers; Satan’s Kingdom [Belgian Strong Golden Ale] and Current Seam [Saison].

Side bar: I didn’t pick up the keg from Legitimus but it was the same day. I needed something for my kegerator, and it shows my state of mind, and the start of my beer awakening. The first non American-style pale lager: Wheat Beer, in this instance, Shock Top.
