Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament (2015)
This post, written 18 July 2024, is a throwback on ninth anniversary of a special event, the Belchertown, Massachusetts Knights of Columbus 5th Annual Golf Tournament at their home course, Cold Spring Country Club.
18 July 2015Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves because I only remember that my team won with a score of -14. Not too damn bad. After seeing this post one may ask themselves, “how could those guys possible win?” You should have seen the other guys! In all seriousness, we played really well despite the libations.
My friend and I were teamed up with two Knights, Rob and Chuck. These were great guys and we were crushing the ball all day long!

…And this is how it ended, championship trophies in hand, well, it wasn’t over per se, there was still plenty to eat and prizes to be won in the raffle.
“God only knows. Simply the best. Great team!”
Amazingly, this was neither the first, or last, time I would see a golf cart roll over onto someone. Still, it’s always a shocking sight to come around a bend and see something so out of place as that. Everyone lived and no damage done.
“Great event. Thanks to the Knights of Columbus for putting this on and raising money for a good cause.”
