UCONN Football vs. Boston College (2022)
Note, this was written in August 2024 to recreate and reference a post which was lost. Old computer(s), Google Drive, Facebook, etc. were all searched for context, but not much was able to be recovered. We will try to add some details, but as our memories have faded, this may well be all that we have left of that moment in time.

The 3-5 Huskies unbelievably defeated the 2-5 Boston College Eagles for the first time ever, 13-3. What the fuck?
I should have know this game was going to go badly, it was the Witch’s birthday after all.
Anyway, I was with my love and her son, so that was great. This battle of the titans was only redeemed due to the wonderful weather and great company. Even though I advedly root for UCONN, I would have rather seen Boston College take this one. Football is not really the thing at the University of Connecticut. The Eagles were national champions a quarter century before I was born, and my father was attended so…

I’m not sure why I don’t have a group pictures with Don Pedro and family. I was definitely off Facebook for the most part by this date. He’s always the best!
Apparently we had enough and as we were working our way out we watched a little more from up above… because, come on, this wasn’t happening, right?
The Eagles had a Long Way to Go.
It was cool to see… the cheerleaders and Jonathan the Husky!
I also had my ID with me, but note the older generation husky logo on mine… because I’m old.
And, of course, JumboC and his lot…
I was able to find a YouTube ‘highlight’ of the game… it’s ten God damn minutes long! I’ve posted dozens of the recaps of games I attended and they barely covered anything of interest, but this time they made a “mini-move” out of the debacle. Unbelievable; enjoy:
