Hammonasset Beach, I


Note: this is an anniversary reposting of this occasion written on 19 July 2024. Only a few pictures were able to be recovered from Facebook, and they are lacking in context.


The fog was burned off by 11:00 AM and I remember having a wonderful time… except, apparently, for the sand being too soft to walk on.

The most ‘unwalkable’ beach in Connecticut.

The collage insert that states “Hammonasset Natural Area Preserve” has nothing to do with our day. It came up originally on search; since had never been to this beach before [that I can recall], I had thought that is where we were.
