UCONN Football vs. Wagner (2019)
Note, this was written in August 2024 to recreate and reference a post which was lost. Old computer(s), Google Drive, Facebook, etc. were all searched for context, but not much was able to be recovered. We will try to add some details, but as our memories have faded, this may well be all that we have left of that moment in time.

The Huskies defeated the Wagner Seahawks by the score of 24-21. Hallelujah!
I was with my son at the game again, so that was great. And it was the season opener! That’s why I had never heard of the Wagner Seahawks; you always schedule a home opener against a pushover, if you can help it.
I’m not sure why I don’t have a group pictures with Don Pedro and family. I was definitely off Facebook for the most part by this date. He’s always the best…oh wait, I took a picture of us in the reflection of a tuba, so there’s that.
It was cool to see the band, team, and cheerleader walk past us in the new lot before the game, and the fireworks at the end weren’t to celebrate a victory [it was the opener remember]. I’m sure explosive power expires, so can’t keep those waiting around for a win.
